Forest Grove Stables, LLC is a small, family oriented stable
nestled in historic Leesburg, Virginia. We are conveniently located off of 15 South...approximately 5 minutes from downtown
Leesburg.
We specialize in teaching children ages 2 & up (go to lesson sidebar).

recently added ADULT Riding Lessons!!!. Please call us for a trial lesson today!!
Our teaching philosophy
is to "create a horseman....not a passenger"!
We strive to offer a strong foundation in a positive,
stress free learning environment. Students are offered the necessary tools to become "free thinkers"
and not a passenger!
Your horse will NOT be groomed, tacked, and ready to ride….this is the STUDENTS responsibility!!
If you seek a "pony ride" once a week our program is not for you!!
We look forward to the opportunity in helping assist your child in becoming the best possible rider
and horseman they can be!!!
FALL Hours of Operation:
8am - 5pm MON-THURS
8am-5pm SAT & SUN
Boarders and Staff Hours of Operation: 8am-5pm 7 days a week
NOTE: We are NOT open to the general public. If you wish to visit our facility a prior appointment
is REQUIRED for SAFETY reasons as we handle, and ride large animals on the entire facility.
Potential Students are evaluated
based SOLELY on their ability to comprehend and ride safely based on our level of expertise. We are not a certified
Theraputic Riding Program nor are our Riding Instructors at FGS. Please contact your local ADA for recommendations of
Riding Programs that are Certified TRP's.
