Welcome!!
Forest Grove Stables, LLC is a small, family oriented stable
nestled in historic Leesburg, Virginia. We are conveniently located off of 15 South...approximately 5 minutes from downtown
Leesburg.
We specialize in teaching children ages 2 & up (go to lesson sidebar). We offer a limited number
of private adult lessons and ground lessons. Call for info.
Our teaching philosophy is to "create a horseman....not
just a passenger"!
We strive to offer a strong foundation in a positive, stress free learning environment.
Students are offered the necessary tools to become "free thinkers" and not just a passenger!
Your horse will NOT be groomed, tacked, and ready to ride….this is the STUDENTS responsibility!!
If you seek a "pony ride" once a week our program is not for you!!

Summer Hours of Operation
(Lessons only): 8am - 7pm MON-THURS 7am-7pm
SAT & SUN
Boarders and Staff Hours of Operation: 6am-8pm 7 days a week
NOTE: We are NOT open to the general public. If you wish to visit our facility a prior appointment
is REQUIRED for SAFETY reasons as we handle, and ride large animals on the entire facility. Potential Students are evaluated
based SOLELY on their ability to comprehend and ride safely based on our level of expertise. We are not a certified
Theraputic Riding Program nor are our Riding Instructors at FGS. Please contact your local ADA for recommendations of
Riding Programs that are Certified TRP's.
